Holidays with Covid-19: Safe Ways to Celebrate

Now that restrictions are slowly being lifted, we should not let our guards down because the virus is still out there. More so that the Christmas season is here, and people tend to gather to celebrate with family and friends.

Observe these tips to keep safe:

  1. Minimize COVID-19 risk and protect those not yet eligible for vaccination like young children by ensuring that all gathering for celebrations are vaccinated.
  2. Always wear well-fitting masks, especially if you are in public indoor settings.
  3. Avoid crowded, poorly ventilated spaces.
  4. If you are sick or have symptoms, do not host or attend a gathering.
  5. If you have symptoms of COVID-19 or have a close contact with an infected person, get tested to be sure.
  6. If you are considering traveling for a holiday or event, be sure to strictly follow travel health guidelines. Delay travel if you are not fully vaccinated.

By working together, we can enjoy safer holidays and protect our own health as well as the health of our family and friends.
